The NDIS Code of Conduct

Sam-Rena's Home Care Services is dedicated to upholding the NDIS Code of Conduct and is obligated to do so. We keep this Code at the forefront of our daily actions, behaviours and service standards.

What Our Team Must Do

In line with the NDIS Code of Conduct, our workers, key personnel and providers must:

  • Act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination and decision-making in accordance with applicable laws and conventions.
  • Respect the privacy of people with disability.
  • Provide supports and services in a safe and competent manner, with care and skill.
  • Act with integrity, honesty and transparency.
  • Promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that might impact the quality and safety of supports and services.
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect and abuse of people with disability.
  • Take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.
  • Not charge, or represent higher prices for goods supplied to NDIS participants, without reasonable justification.

Who Must Follow the Code

The Code applies to registered and unregistered NDIS providers, their key personnel, and workers delivering NDIS supports and services.

Anyone can raise concerns about potential breaches. Concerns can be reported to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
